Let's together enjoy a rooftop camping experience of expansion into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual shifts the season brings through music, ritual and indigenous gardening.
Mmino-Ngweding (meaning Moonsong in Setswana) is a lunar cycle song dedication and collective process that highlights how our human bio rhythms are linked with the cosmos and the land, and facilitates practical ways that can be implemented to reconnect with that harmony again. The retreat includes Bantu and Kemetic cosmological perspectives, through storytelling, live music, permaculture, star gazing, somatic movement therapy, healthy gf plant based meals and therapeutic sound healing whilst you sleep to encourage deep rest, resonance and intentionality with the time period and cycle.
MminoNgweding not only highlights how individuals and communities have an interdependent relationship with each other, the cosmos and the land, but also provides us the space and tools to practice that integration into being again.
This Retreat will help you:
Gain insight into the unique energetic signature defining the sidereal lunar cycle and the impact that it will have on us,
Understand the dominating astrological signatures of the month, power days and special days to look out for,
Learn permaculture (indigenous farming) principles and best practices for promoting climate resilience, adaptation and planetary healing,
Learn the African somatic exercises that are most aligned to this time and encourage holistic health, harmony and greater intentionality with our goals,
Heal and be transformed by the guidance of the rhythms into embodied wisdom and wholeness,
Stay focused and on course with tools that will help you improve energy levels and stay connected, motivated and inspired throughout the season and cycle,
Embody greater clarity through the purification of the mind, body, and soul, and
Engender introspection and communion with the Earth, as well as a renewal of social and cultural bonds.
This retreat will be over two days beginning on Friday September 25th at 5pm and end Saturday September 26th at 11am.
