CENTRE FOR THE APPLIED MUSIC AND INDIGENOUS HEALING ARTS
Center for the Applied Music and Indigenous Healing Arts (CAMIHA)- Ba Ra Healing and Sounding Institute was founded in 2019 and operates in Gauteng Province, Johannesburg. CAMIHA is an African Indigenous Knowledge Systems based Music Therapy and Education solutions provider. We are dedicated to promoting societal well-being, and self-sustainability by fostering physical, mental and emotional health programmes. We do so by offering healing products, wellness retreat programs, and sound and music therapy, workshops and physical sessions. These are conducted through one-on-one or group services.
Our Healing products involve -
* Wellness retreat programs focusing on self-transformation and positive behavioural change for pre-teens through to the elderly,
* Sound and Music therapy: Sessions and Concerts, * Healing adornments and Music,
* Neuro Linguistic Programming therapy (NLP), * Relationship coaching, * Dream therapy,
* Meditative movement such as Yoga, Qi gong, Meditation and Breadthwork,
* Feminine cycle health and embodiment, and * African astrology, I Ching and Kemetic Oracle readings

Indigenous healing processes and natural products that benefit individuals battling with mental and physical afflictions.
Healing and supporting others in coming into right relation with their bodies, minds, emotions, spirits and purpose.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Boipelo is a spiritual practitioner who channels energies from all elements into healing paths and self produces music as an expression of life's mystic revelations. - Dr Baba Buntu
I am a Musician, Facilitator and African Indigenous Knowledge Systems practitioner with a passion for social enterprise; having launched a number of initiatives and businesses to empower the youth and develop local communities, across both South Africa and Dubai. After being trained for 8 years in holistic health, Bantu Cosmology and the Indigenous Knowledge Systems through the Amen Ra Institute, and continuing my research and studies in Music and Music therapy, various forms of yoga including Kemetic, Kundalini, Hatha, Kriya, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin and Womb Yoga, Qi gong, Tai Chi, as well as various Meditation disciplines for a further 9 years; training in Neuro Linguistic programming, Relationship coaching, Permaculture design and my background in Teaching and Mechanical Engineering design, I have developed a multi-disciplinary approach to my offerings, that promotes holistic health, well-being and self-mastery, and is aimed at addressing the root of the physical, psychosocial and environmental challenges that we are experiencing. Since 2008 I have been committed to helping my community, clients, and customers spiritually, mentally and emotionally break free, so that they may find the peace to overcome the obstacles that have been holding them back. Life is to be lived and there are endless ways that we can turn the experiences that we go through into opportunities that heal, realign and ignite the limitless potential within us rather than obstacles that challenge and ultimately block us from this gift. Through my learnings I have created products, programs and workshops to help us redefine our reality and shape our perspective into one that is healthy, in tune and effective.
